The world of Death Stranding may look empty, but its comprised of many different facilities, Knot Cities, and Preppers hidden away that needed to be re-connected to America. Sam will need to stop at each facility to take on and turn in orders and deliveries. Each location can be added to the UCA's Chiral Network, which will allow you to create items using materials stored at that location. Places like Knot Cities and Distribution Centers allow Sam to rest inside, and store vehicles in garages, while other locations may require a high connection level for you to be able to temporarily rest inside.
Sam will need to reach many of these facilities on his main quest to reconnect America, but certain locations and Preppers are off the beaten path and entirely optional, but may have incredible rewards for raising your connection level and bringing them into the UCA.

I went to the dollar store and bought 1 of each strength reading glasses 1. I put all of them in a hard plastic clear box along with a couple of magnifiers.
