Mortal kombat 2 stages

Spawn the final character of Kombat Pack 2 has been released recently and he is the coolest Spawn has been in years. It has really made me go through a Spawn phase at the moment.

The pack as a whole though was excellent with not a single character that sticks out as the bad one of a bunch. For Kombat Pack 2 if they could do any of those stages Deadpool being my favourite it would be great. Adding some more stages would add a bit more variety and hopefully some actual stage fatalities too.

MORTAL KOMBAT ARMAGEDDON: Kreated Fighters (Mortal Kombat 1-10)

I am going for 4 MK characters and 2 guest characters. Starting with:. He was a main character in the MKX comic and is one of the favourites of the 3D era characters. He has the potential for a very interesting move set and they could do some interesting character designs for him MK Armageddon being my favourite of his. Kintaro never seems to be utilized.

He may not be the most requested character by the fans, but I would love to play with him, which would bring me back to my MK Trilogy childhood.

Another fan favourite 3D era character, Havik has been referenced in a lot of MK11 endings and similar to Reiko was a main character in the MKX comics.

He has a completely different playing style to any other character in the universe and has one of the coolest designs. He would be a good contrast to Raiden and they could do a lot with his design. The fans are literally crying for it!

Mortal Kombat II

The main character from one of my favourite horror franchises: The Evil Deadwas supposed to be in Kombat Pack 1 but was replaced with the Joker in the end.

If we do get a Kombat Pack 2, I would love to have him in it, he would fit perfectly in the universe and I would look forward to his intro and outro dialogues voiced by the man himself: Bruce Campbell. I was debating to put him, Robocop or the Doom Slayer on here, the reason I went with Judge Dredd in the end, is because I think you could do a lot with his design and he is very underutilized. He is one of the coolest comic book characters of all time and would fit in perfectly to the MK Universe.

You could have Karl Urban voice him and hopefully build up the hype to force a new movie or TV show to be made. All of these look great.

But all of them look like they've put the fighters in a small room. I like to see stages with huge backdrops which show the world and tell a story. It was done by design. Ed Boon in an interview said the stages gave been made smaller on purpose so that the fighters are closer to each other during the fight. Oh that's not what I mean. You can still restrict the fight stage to keep players close, but have a huge back drop to the world.

I want to see the setting, not a very small closed off room. For instance in MK-X Emperor's Courtyard you can see a huge backdrop of Kotal Kahn's statue, a big animal pulling down the statue of Shao Kahn, people working on the building, etc Almost correct, the reason is so the characters are closer to the actual arena and more immersed. It definitely feels like the character is in the arena they are fighting. In MKX it was much more like the background was just that and I didn't feel the characters and arena were blending very well due to the distance and angle, which they have no worked on and it seems much better.

MKX was actually already pretty close compared to previous games. I actually hope they will have arenas with some depth as they shouldn't have to go overboard with the up-close style, but I fear a stage like the Krossroads or a Lin Kuie temple with a mountain range in the background or something like the main menu in MK11 with the temple in the background and or floating structures.

I don't see a stage so far that really pops, but in terms of realism, diversity and the angle I love them. This is a screenshot of the story trailer. What do you think? Is this going to be a stage or is is just for cinematics?

Looks like Netherrealm or something. Although the sky in the left corner Maybe an "entrance" to Netherrealm? One of several major complaints I had about MKX was 1 the lack of arenas 2 most arenas were uninspired. Thankfully, I am pleased with MK11 arenas that have been shown, so far. I have a fondness for Goro's corpse on his throne -- very reminiscent of Alien. That said, a new "leak" has recently surfaced, and it paints quite a different picture of Kombat Pack 2.

Fujin, it says, will be able to use wind traps and a flying knee special, while Sheeva will have "an updated, more brutal punch walk" and access to her Teleport Stomp. The leak then goes on to say that Ash will be able to summon a demon using the Necronomicon and that Havik will sport a more armor-clad look than fans have seen previously.

All of this said, it is important to note that this leak originates from 4chan, as did the other recent Kombat Pack 2 leak, and should thus be approached with a great deal of skepticism. However, the new leak states that the forthcoming Spawn gameplay trailerwhich will debut at Final Kombat on March 8, will tease the four characters it pins to Kombat Pack 2, which means that fans do not have to wait long to see if the claims have any substance.

While again these indications should certainly not be taken as fact, many fans would love to see these assertions affirmed, and they may in just over two weeks' time. Source: 4chan. Although the announcer did not acknowledge it in the original MKthis would be the series' first Stage Fatality.

The Pit II - When an opponent is defeated on this stage, they can be uppercutted off the bridge where they will meet their demise on the rocky bottom below. Because of the practical impossibility of filming new, extra animations with actors for the non- Mortal Kombat II character sprites for the Pit II's overhead fall, they simply left the Fatality out entirely.

The Pit III - When an opponent is defeated on this stage, they can be uppercutted off the bridge where they will be sliced to pieces by giant spinning blades at the bottom. The Pit X - When an opponent is defeated on this stage, they can be uppercutted off the bridge where they will first lose an arm to the spiky pillars holding the bridge up, and then land on a bed of spikes, their arm soon following.

The Street - It features a Stage Fatality where your opponent is hit by a taxi. When they are hit, it shows their skull being cracked X-Ray style, and then their head is completely ripped off. Mortal Kombat only The Subway - When an opponent is defeated on this stage, they can be uppercutted through the roof and back down to the other side MK3 and updates or knocked straight into the tracks MK: Armageddon to be then run over by a subway train. The winner then tosses the loser across the arena to the other tracks, where another train runs the opponent over while the opponent is still airborne. Categories :.Mortal Kombat is an American media franchise centered on a series of video gamesoriginally developed by Midway Games ' Chicago studio in The development of the first game was originally based on an idea that Ed Boon and John Tobias had of making a video game starring Jean-Claude Van Dammebut as that idea fell through, a fantasy -themed fighting game titled Mortal Kombat was created instead.

Mortal Kombat was the first ever fighting game to introduce a secret fighter, reached if the player fulfilled a set of requirements. The original game has spawned many sequels and spin-offs consisting of several action-adventure gamesas well as a comic book series and a card game. Film producer Lawrence Kasanoff licensed the rights to the game in the early s and produced the first hit movie ever made from a video game.

Lawrence also produced the second movie, animated TV series, live-action TV series films, the first one million platinum-selling album and a live-action tour. Mortal Kombat has become the most successful fighting franchise in the history of video games and one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time. The series has a reputation for high levels of violent content, including, most notably, its Fatalities finishing moves allowing the player to finish off their defeated opponent.

Early games in this series were also noted for their realistic digitized sprites and an extensive use of palette swapping to create new characters. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment currently owns the rights to the franchise, which it rebooted in The first two of them were played in the arcades with a joystick and five buttons: high punch, low punch, high kick, low kick, and block.

Mortal Kombat 3 and its updates added a sixth "run" button. Mortal Kombat 4 also tried to introduce the 3D system but it wasn't worked properly due to old system mechanics.

Also the combination of the moves changed from the old Mortal Kombat games and this was done by differentiating characters' normal moves and even giving them multiple fighting styles.

Beginning in Deadly Alliance and until Mortal Kombat: Deceptionthe characters would have three fighting styles per character: two unarmed styles, and one weapon style. For Armageddonfighting styles were reduced to a maximum of two per character generally one hand-to-hand combat style and one weapon style due to the sheer number of playable characters. DC Universe dropped the multiple fighting style trend altogether in favor of giving each character a much wider variety of special moves, [6] but some characters still use multiple fighting styles.

Mortal Kombat: Deception and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon feature "Konquest", a free-roaming action-adventure mode that significantly expanded on the single-player experience.

Both games also include distinct minigame modes such as "Chess Kombat", an action- strategy game similar to Archon. It focuses on a new tournament, held in Outworld by a rejuvenated Shang Tsung and his master, the emperor Shao Kahn.

With the aid of Goro he was to unbalance the furies and doom the planet to a chaotic existence. By seizing control of the shaolin tournament he tried to tip the scales of order towards chaos.

Only seven warriors survived the battles and Shang Tsung's scheme would come to a violent end at the hands of Liu Kang. Facing execution for his failure and the apparent death of Goro, Tsung convinces Shao Kahn to grant him a second chance Shang Tsung's new plan is to lure his enemies to compete in the Outworld where they will meet certain death by Shao Kahn himself.

Now, the Kombat kontinues Following his defeat, Shang Tsung begs his master, Shao Kahn, to spare his life. He tells Shao Kahn that the invitation for Mortal Kombat cannot be turned down, and if they hold it in Outworld, the Earthrealm warriors must attend.

Kahn agrees to this plan, and restores Tsung's youth. He extends the invitation to Raiden, who gathers his warriors and takes them into Outworld. The tournament is dangerous, as Shao Kahn has the home field advantage, and an Outworld victory will unbalance the furies and allow Outworld to subsume Earthrealm.

It is largely believed that all three games were produced using the same basic game engine. Unfortunately, the updated version of the engine used for the Amiga version of MKII contained several glitches. Game Boy.
